Skiing on the Plan de Corones

Fantastic ski slopes with breath-taking views

At the Plan de Corones, skiing is a doubly pleasurable experience. The well-groomed slopes and stunning views of the Dolomites are consistent across its 116 km of ski slopes of all difficulty levels and its 32 ski lifts. Thrills and spills are assured for the kids on the easy slopes as much as experienced skiers on one of the daunting so-called Black Five pistes, on what is acknowledged as Europe’s #1 skiing mountain. After a hectic day out on the slopes, recover in one of several serviced mountain refuges, offering genuine Tyrolean hospitality.

The ski lift valley station is just 15 min on foot from the Hotel Elisabeth. If you prefer, you can leave your vehicle in the car park and take the free Skibus linking Chienes to the cableway.
