Kronaction Adventure Park
14 ski routes and 140 stations make Issengo's Kronaction Adventure Park the largest outdoor park in South Tyrol. Come and test your nerves on the high ropes and rope bridges, high climbs, obstacle courses, trampolines as well as … a human catapult! The park presents a thrilling and exciting challenge for visitors of all ages – without safety concerns!
Snowshoe Hiking
Experience the magic of hiking across snow-covered forest trails on snowshoes, all the way to the summit. Even without any prior experience, families with children can also enjoy the thrill of winter hiking. The awe-inspiring, majestic snow-capped summits of Lutterkop and Putzenhöhe mountains as well as the Astjoch ridge are well worth the effort!
MTB
Roughly 300 km of cycle tracks and MTB trails run across the Plan de Corones outdoor recreational area. The cycle tracks along the Reinz river and the Sun Route from Chienes to Brunico are also suited to road bikes. Thanks to the Bike-Shuttle Service connecting several cycle routes, logistical problems can be avoided. Not far from the Hotel Elisabeth the cycle track from Chienes leads up to the Moarhofalm mountain hut. With a 1,440 m elevation difference, the route to the Astjoch ridge is a sizeable challenge even for experienced riders.

Cross-country Skiing and Biathlon
With a captivating alpine landscape as a backdrop, the Hotel Elisabeth is close to a number of cross-country skiing routes such the Plan de Corones and the Dolomiti Nordicski circuit. Under the imposing gaze of the Riesenferner mountain, the biathlon is another major attraction held at the Alto Adige/Südtirol Arena in Anterselva. This top-level sports center also hosts the Annual Biathlon World Cup.
MMM
The extraordinary feats of Reinhold Messner, the world-famous South Tyrolean climber, have entered the annals of mountaineering history. Yet Messner’s achievements haven’t been limited to scaling some of the worlds most challenging peaks. His passion for the mountains led to the creation of six Messner Mountain Museums (MMM’s), showcasing the history and culture of the mountains. Two of these structures are located in the vicinity of Chienes, namely; the MMM Ripa, housed in the Bruneck Castle and the MMM Corones. Designed by the late, world-famous architect Zaha Hadid, the MMM Corones is located on the Plan de Corones at an altitude of 2,275 m.

In Riscone/Reischach, beneath the Plan de Corones, the family-friendly Cron4 water park offers no less than 5 swimming pools, a 75-m water slide, a 3,000 m2 sauna area, massages as well as health and spa treatments. Meanwhile, the kids can play safely in one the pools or in the spacious green area.
